Building Envelope Insulation
Pre insulated ducts & Insulation panels
Pre insulated ducts –Pre Insulted panels are worldwide used in Commercial, Residential, Hospitals and Industrial applications for HVAC Ducting System. It is also an excellent option in Industries such as Food Processing, Pharmaceuticals, Electronics, and Medical centres where there is a need of high level quality and hygiene.
The panels with both sides Aluminium foil which are usually 20 mm thick used for indoor application and 30 mm thick used for outdoor application with a foam density of 48 kg/m³ are later cut, shaped, fabricated and glued into different profiles to form the final duct. The duct is later connected to other ducts via Aluminium profile / PVC flanges to complete the system.
The final ducting is versatile and can be installed internally or externally, can be concealed above a False Ceiling or visibly mounted closer to the ceiling.
ACT offers ducting solution in three ways
Tropical climatic conditions of India makes it compulsory to pre cool the fresh air before it is pump in the building envelops. The higher temperature and moisture conditions add to lot of load in present day fresh air cooling products. The first ever Hybrid Fresh Air Cooling technologies offered designed around innovative heat recovery process will be the expectant solution in coming times. The green buildings, hospitality premises, health care facilities, pharma industries, data center campuses and many more domains which can now enjoy energy saving by adopting Arka Clean Technologies Fresh Air Cooling products.
- Supply of sheets of size 4m x 1.2 m and accessories which are cut, fabricated to form ducts at site
- Supply of cut sheets which are assembled to form ducts at site.
- Supply of factory fabricated ducts
Insulated panels for false ceiling
Pre Insulated Panels are used as False Ceiling to prevent heat and noise transfer as it has better Insulation and Acoustic property as compared to Calcium Silicate tiles. Further, it is four times lighter in weight as compared to Calcium Silicate tiles thus it requires less structural support.
Building envelop insulation
Panels are applied seamlessly on the underside of the floor to prevent heat transfer. PIR foam seamlessly seals the floor in contrast to the other systems. Similarly it can be used for Roof Insulation.
One of the major examples for this application is temperature reduction by at least 12°C in Industrial sheds where corrugated sheets are exposed to sun and temperature reach above 50°C. Therefore roof insulation is necessary to bring the temperatures at optimal level.
Under OR Over deck
PIR Panels are applied to the surface of the roof to prevent heat transfer. The thickness of panels varies 15 mm to 50 mm.
We offer three variants for this application :-
- PIR Foam sandwiched between Aluminium foil on both sides.
- PIR Foam sandwiched between Aluminium foil and Kraft Paper.
- PIR Foam sandwiched between Kraft Paper on both sides.
